2016 USTA National Champions in Maywood

Amazing things happened last weekend at the 2016 USTA National Tumbling Competition in Knoxville, TN.  Mr. Ernie’s Flip, Flop, and Fly took 30 qualifying athletes to compete in the tumbling floor and double mini events.  This elite team, that practices multiple times a week at the tumbling gym in Maywood, earned 15 top 10 places.  Isabella Sommesi and Emmyerie Smith both earned 3rd place in the nation for double mini, and Josiah Smith earned 1st place in the nation in tumbling floor.  Look out for more great things from these amazing athletes in the near future!  They will be holding a pool party on July 24th from 4pm to 7pm at the Fred Hampton Aquatic Center in Maywood.  The $5 ticket price helps the team attend these competitions.
