Marcus Cyrus – Flip Flop and Fly Alumn

My name is Marcus Cyrus and I am an electrical engineering student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I graduated from Walther Lutheran High School in Melrose Park. My tumbling career started in Mr. Ernie’s Flip Flop and Fly when we signed up for classes when I was in 2nd grade. I continued with my competitive tumbling until my sophomore year of high school. During that time, My coaches pushed me and helped me reach the elite level of tumbling. Currently I coach gymnastics and tumbling at the YMCA of Edwardsville, IL.
