Angie Dodd has served as senior bankruptcy counsel for the Securities and Exchange Commission for over 25 years where she has sought to protect the rights of public investors and the integrity of the financial markets. Her commitment to public service is evident by her community engagement. Angie served seven years on the board of the Oak Park Education Foundation (OPEF), including serving as Board President. In addition, Angie formed a community action group, the HB40 Task Force, to ensure health care access to all Illinois women. She is actively engaged in local politics. Angie earned a B.A. in English from Iowa State University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Angie is a news junky, avid hiker and adventurous cook. Her husband, Richard, teaches American History at Oak Park River Forest High School where their three boys attended school.
