Maywood Fine Arts Association

Maywood Fine Arts Association (MFAA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality arts instruction at a very low cost to the children of Maywood and surrounding communities.

Over 1200 students participate in classes at MFAA each week. Our students, staff and administration are culturally and ethnically diverse. At Maywood Fine Arts Association, we teach: Piano, Voice, Percussion, Guitar, Drama, Harmonica, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop & Tap Dance, Tumbling, Drawing & Painting and Arts & Crafts.

Performances and exhibits are presented at Christmas and in May/June.

In addition to providing arts education to children in a community with few after-school resources, MFAA has transformed the intersection of Lake Street and Fifth Avenue form one of drug dealers to one providing a safe place for children to congregate.
